E3 2012 Community Ambassador Initiative
Happy Friday Everyone!
I’m very, very excited to reveal a community initiative that has been months in the making. In an effort to ensure the Tomb Raider community has representation at E3 we’ve handpicked 17 international representatives from the Official Fansite Program to be flown to Los Angles and act as ambassadors to the larger community.
The goal of the program is to give longtime webmasters press-like status at E3. We’re giving them access to the demo, interviews, and the E3 show floor so that they can best relay information and impressions about Tomb Raider to all of you!
The full list of attending ambassadors can be found below. I’m sure you’ll recognize some of the names!

If you’re not part of one of the above communities, I’d like to welcome you to discuss E3 over on the Official Tomb Raider Forums. You can interact with the forum ambassador (Chip) threefold:
E3 Q&A Thread [Link]: In the Q&A thread you can ask any questions you have for the Tomb Raider team. A number of questions will be picked out and the forum ambassador will ask them directly (face to face!) during his visit to LA. Chip will also keep the second post of the thread updated so you can keep an eye on popular questions.
E3 Demo Thread [Link]: The demo thread is a place for all of you to give Chip hints about what you’d like him to look for in the demo. This is also where Chip will share his impressions and updates during the show, and a longer format preview of the game post-E3.
E3 General Chat [Link]: We’re also going to be maintaining the general E3 discussion thread. This will be your one-stop shop for all important E3 information, assets, and your impressions.
I’m extremely excited about this opportunity, and can’t wait to share E3 with fellow Tomb Raider fans! Here is to a fantastic show!
Went fishing on the weekend….a couple pics! Didn’t catch anything but enjoyed being out. Also, you’ll see some new additions to my tackle box. “Riptide” (green/orange) and the crazy sparkly blue one…haven’t named it yet :)

Vote on the next Tomb Raider YouTube video debate topic!
For Tomb Raider fans just joining, I held a debate last November: Was it necessary to change Lara’s entire biography after Crystal Dynamics took over? [link] Within a week it became my most commented video, and have had several requests to continue debating various topics. Check it out if you haven’t already, and vote on the next topic!

As most of you know, I attended GDC this month to look for work, network, and attend conferences. Check out some photos from my trip! If you have any questions, send away!
Recently Katie Fleming - of Katie’s Tomb Raider Site fame - made her way out to the San Francisco area to attend the annual Game Developers Conference. Her trip gave me the perfect chance to meet her person for the first time, and her the opportunity to pop by the Crystal Dynamics office!
I’m embarrassed to admit that afterwards I took Katie to Chipotle for her first Californian meal, but she seemed impressed enough with it since they don’t have the chain in Canada. ;)
You can check out a few of her snaps from the tour above.
